Professional Biography
Kai Wu is the Animal Law Program's Research Fellow. Before joining the program, Kai taught at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law as a tenured assistant professor and was a guest lecturer at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He visited UC Berkeley School of Law twice as a visiting scholar at the Berkeley Center for Law and Business, and as a visiting student researcher at the Center for Law, Energy, & the Environment. Kai studies animal law and policy, corporate sustainability, including entrepreneurship responses to climate change, and empirical legal analysis. He received an LLB from Jilin University, an LLM from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and a PhD from Peking University Law School.
