The Sturm College of Law's Incarcerated Artists Alliance (IAA) student organization hosted its second annual spring exhibition on Thursday, April 9, bringing together over 250 guests to experience art created by currently and formerly incarcerated Colorado artists. The event highlighted the IAA's belief that informing incarcerated artists of their intellectual property rights is one of the most effective ways of empowering self-determination and self-expression in carceral spaces.
