What are the prerequisites to apply to Denver Law?
1) Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in any field from a regionally accredited college or university by the time they enter law school.
2) Applicants must take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT).
How do I get more information about the LSAT?

Do you average multiple LSAT scores?
All LSAT scores for an applicant will be considered by the Admissions Committee; however, in most cases your highest LSAT score will be used when reviewing your file for admission.
How do I get a Denver Law application?
You can access our online application through the Law School Admission Council’s (LSAC) website. You must register with the Credential Assembly Service to access our online application.
When do you start accepting applications?
Our application becomes available each September 1st for admission for the following Spring, Summer or Fall semesters.
How much is tuition?

How many applications did your school receive last year?
Last year, we received approximately 2565 applications.
How many students are in your entering class?
We have about 247 first-year law students enter each year. About 211 students are in the full-time day division and about 36 are in the part-time weekend/online hybrid division.
What is your median LSAT score and median GPA score?

How do I request an application fee waiver?
Application fee waivers are granted by LSAC. Once you receive a fee waiver from LSAC, DU will automatically waive your application fee when you submit your online application.
When does the Admissions Committee begin reviewing applications?
The Admissions Committee begins reviewing complete applications and making admissions decisions for the fall term in November and continues to make decisions throughout the following spring. Learn about our Review Process
Is there an application deadline?
There is no formal application deadline. However, for the best consideration, your application and supporting documents should be received by the Office of Admissions by March 1 of the year you would like to enter. The later you apply, the fewer seats will be available in our class.
How do I submit my personal statement and resume?
We require that your personal statement and resume be attached as electronic documents to our online application.
Are the supplemental questions required?
The supplemental questions are not required. You can write answers to these optional questions if you would like. Answers should be brief, yet include all relevant information pertaining to the question. Your answer could be anywhere from a couple of sentences to a page in length. For the supplemental question dealing with any significant written products, we are looking for a description of your written products and request that you do not include these written products with your application.
How many letters of recommendation are required?
We require two letters of recommendation be sent through the LSAC’s Letter of Recommendation service. You can send in a maximum of four letters of recommendation.
How can I check the status of my application?
To check the status of your application click here and use the system generated username and password sent to you by email. We will update this website as your application moves through our review process. When will I be notified of an admission decision?
Once an application becomes complete, it moves on to the Admission Committee for review. It can take our Admissions Committee anywhere from 4-6 weeks to reach a decision on your application. We will be send all decisions by email.
