The JD program at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law provides an innovative, hands-on and student-centered education to train skilled lawyers who will graduate with marketable legal experience. The wide variety of academic specialties in our nationally ranked JD program allows students to tailor their education to a specific practice area that matches their job goals. Specialties are available in Environmental and Natural Resources Law, Intellectual Property Law, International Law, Constitutional Rights and Remedies, Corporate and Commercial Law and Workplace Law. Students can also build practice-ready skills through the law school's clinical programs, as well as the externship program (one of the largest in the country), the Semester in Practice and more.
