Professional Biography

John A. Culver has practiced employment and civil rights law since 1992. Mr. Culver graduated from the University of Kansas with honors in 1987 and from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1992. Mr. Culver is admitted to practice in front of the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, and all Colorado state courts. Since 1997, he has been a partner in the Denver law firm of Benezra & Culver, PC. He is an extremely experienced and successful trial attorney and a certified AAA arbitrator.

During his entire career, Mr. Culver has been committed to legal education. He has taught as an adjunct professor at DU since 1997. His courses include Introduction to Employment Law, Public Sector and Constitutional Employment Law, and Employment Discrimination. He also regularly instructs members of the Bar regarding similar topics, including as a lecturer at the National Convention for the National Employment Lawyer’s Association, the Annual Retreat of the Plaintiff’s Employment Lawyers Association, and numerous others.
