Professional Biography
Gary Chandler teaches Criminal Defense Investigation. He has worked as a defense investigator in the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office since 2010. Currently, Gary is the Chief Investigator of the Brighton trial office, supervising a team of 17 investigators and covering Adams and Broomfield counties. He has taught investigation techniques in the law school’s Criminal Defense Clinic and is a lecturer in CU Denver’s undergraduate Criminal Justice Department. Previously, Gary worked as a freelance travel writer, based in Mexico and Latin America. He lives in Denver with his wife and two children, and enjoys skiing, fishing, arts, and travel.
