Director, Communications & Marketing
Christopher Wangelin is the Director of Marketing & Communication at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. He joined the law school in 2003 providing administrative support to the Alumni Relations and Development teams. Chris assisted coordinating the move from the Park Hill location to the DU campus and was then made a permanent full-time employee in 2004 as a development specialist. In 2007, the law school created the Office of Communications and Chris transitioned to Assistant Director of Communications, serving as manager and designer for digital and print media and advertising. He is now the law school’s lead communications and marketing specialist and web manager, providing support for every unit within the Sturm College of Law including the Office of the Dean, Admissions, Student Affairs, Registrar, Career Development and Opportunities, Legal Externship Program, Center For Advocacy and Faculty Support, as well as the law school’s certificate and graduate programs. Chris has witnessed first-hand the growth, success and ascendance of the Sturm College of Law and endeavors to move Denver Law to the center of the national stage and gain the recognition it deserves.
