Brian Betner

Brian Betner is an attorney and the managing partner for the Denver office of Hall Render, a national health care-focused law firm. He brings extensive experience advising hospitals, health systems, and healthcare providers on a wide range of clinical, regulatory, and operational matters. His legal practice focuses on representing health care organizations across the country on governance, medical staff operations, clinical integration, and compliance matters, with a strong emphasis on aligning legal strategy with organizational performance and innovation in care delivery. A nationally recognized speaker on the topics of medical staff governance, regulatory compliance, and healthcare operations and strategy, Brian is also a U.S. Navy veteran.

As an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Brian teaches a health law practicum and lectures on various health care industry subjects. Previously, Brian was adjunct faculty for several years at Indiana University. He received his JD with Honors in Health Law from the Robert H. McKinney School of Law at Indiana University and his BA in U.S. History from Indiana University.
