Professional Biography

I am a bilingual attorney with twelve years of experience practicing international and domestic law in Peru and Colorado. I graduated from the Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver as a member of the International Legal Honor Society of Phi Delta Phi, and received my first law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. Currently, I serve at the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment as Compliance Investigator of the Unit of Direct Investigations, and as the External Legal Advisor for the General Consulate of Peru in Denver.

I have extensive experience practicing international law, international and domestic arbitration, and administrative law. I am an active community member with a history of leadership at the Hispanic Bar Association, the Global Chamber of Denver, and the United Nations Association. I was awarded the 2020 Division of Labor Standards Award for Dedication, Leadership, Service and Stewardship, the ‘Best Team Of the Year’ by the Department of Labor for public service recognition in 2020, and the 2019 CHBA President’s Excellence Award for working towards diversity and inclusion in the CHBA Membership and Public Policy Committees.

In my free time I study courses at the University of Oxford, where I support Oxford´s Department of Continuing Education and Oxford’s Christ Church College through the Rita Corvacho Espinoza Scholarship fund, a scholarship which I founded to support the education of students globally. I am also a patron of the Christ Church Boat Club. I like to travel around the world (especially France) and read biographies from French and English statesmen. Daily, I love to cook, play video games, enjoy fine dining, and learn more about the world of wine. I'm also an eternal-beginning-level skier and avid snowshoer in Beaver Creek.
