Sturm College of Law's Certificate of Studies in Natural Resources Law and Policy offers specialized skills in natural resources law. The program is open to those who hold a JD or foreign equivalent law degree, as well as those who hold a natural resources-related undergraduate degree. This certificate is ideal for those who are not able to devote a full year to master's degree study.

Certificate candidates must complete 16 semester credits chosen from courses in the curriculum of the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Program at Denver Law. These courses can help students increase their knowledge of the issues, policies and laws that affect natural resources and the environment worldwide, giving them a legal advantage in both the domestic and international marketplace.
