Professional Biography

John Wilson is Professor of the Practice of Taxation and teaches Partnership, International, Individual Tax Problems, and Consolidated Returns in the University of Denver's Graduate Tax Program.

Wilson is also a tax partner of Holland & Hart LLP, where he provides strategic advice to clients on complex corporate and individual tax matters, mergers and acquisitions, international business transactions, and IRS audits and appeals.

Wilson speaks frequently on tax matters, including for the following organizations: Colorado Society of CPAs, CITE International, CLE International, Denver Tax Association, Denver Tax Institute, Greater Denver Tax Counsel Association, Colorado Bar Association Tax Section, Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation, International Fiscal Association, and Tax Executives Institute.

Wilson is admitted to practice in Colorado and before the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the District of Columbia and Tenth Circuits.
