Inaugural Ved Nanda Center Book Talk Series Webinar
October 4, 2024
9:00-10:15 a.m. (MDT) | Zoom
This recently published book, Gender, Sexuality and Constitutionalism in Asia (Hart Publishing, 2024) examines the rich diversity of constitutional responses to sex, gender and sexuality in 12 jurisdictions across Asia. The case studies, written by leading comparative constitutional scholars, also consider these legal developments in their historical, political and social contexts. As a whole, the volume furthers understanding of the constitutional domain as a fruitful site for advancing gender equality and the rights of sexual and gender diverse people.

In this webinar, the book’s co-editors will provide an overview of key themes and Rebecca Aviel and Luc Beaudoin will comment from U.S. constitutional law and gender studies perspectives.

All are welcome!
