|ORAL ARGUMENTS TO THE COLORADO COURT OF APPEALS and the LP Writing Awards|
Every spring, the Colorado Court of Appeals hears two oral argument cases at the Sturm College of Law. Student ID’s are required for entry to the oral arguments.
| Westlaw and Lexis/Nexis Training|
Please note that sessions will be offered in several different classrooms and you must bring your laptop to training. Attendance will be taken and will be shared with your Lawyering Process Professor. Classes are 45 minutes long.
The law library subscribes to both Lexis & Westlaw and provides free access to law students throughout their time at the University of Denver. Knowing how to use both of these databases effectively not only saves you time in doing legal research, but it can make you more marketable as a law clerk.
Details will be sent to student emails from the Lawyering Process Coordinator during the fall and spring semesters.
