Please join the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, the International Students Society, the Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy, the Ved Nanda Center for International and Comparative Law, and the Korbel School Center on Rights Development for the
2016 CONFERENCE ON TIBET “RIGHTS, REALITY, AND THE LAW”
The event will offer insight and discussion regarding the current state of affairs in Tibet.
- The first part of the discussion will be centered around the legal rights of protestors and the reality of their ability to protest, including the protest environment, the incidence of torture, and the ability for self-determination.
- The second discussion area will be on Tibet’s political and legal response to protest.
