What I do

Candice Coll is a Career Consultant with the Sturm College of Law’s Office of Career Development (CDO), where she advises students and graduates on careers in the legal field. Prior to joining the CDO, Candice worked in both the public and private sectors. Most recently, Candice worked as a trial consultant where she assisted civil defense attorneys throughout the country with trial strategies, witness preparation and jury selection.

Professional Biography

Before graduating from Villanova University School of Law in 2020, Candice received her M.A. in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice where she studied the psychological factors that contribute to wrongful convictions. Candice also assisted with the writing and development of publication materials. While in law school, Candice was awarded a Public Interest Fellowship for her commitment to post-conviction litigation, specifically matters pertaining to the death penalty and wrongful convictions. After graduating law school, Candice pursued a career as a trial consultant which allowed her to utilize her psychology and legal backgrounds.
