Join the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in honoring the life and work of Professor Ann Scales (1952-2012), author of many influential works including “Towards a Feminist Jurisprudence,” “The Emergence of Feminist Jurisprudence” and Legal Feminism: Activism, Lawyering and Legal Theory.

A portion of the registration fee is a tax-deductible donation to the Professor Ann Scales Memorial Gift Fund.

All rates include breakfast, lunch, snacks, reception, parking, relevant materials and CLE credit, if applicable.


CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION

8 CLE credits (including 2.4 ETHICS) have been approved for this event.


LOCATION

The entire Symposium will take place at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law at 2255 East Evans Ave., Denver, Colorado 80208-0600. Click here for directions. Free parking in Lot L will be provided. The main event will take place in Room 155 and meals will be hosted in the John E. Moye Faculty Library, Room 412.


HOTEL

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION/LIGHT RAIL

The DoubleTree is located conveniently by an RTD light rail station. It is a two minute walk to the station and a 15 minute ride to/from the University of Denver station. The law school is a 10-15 minute walk from the station. See below for the Saturday train schedules.

The campus is easily accessed by mass transit, using light rail lines E, F and H. From the University of Denver light rail station, walk south on S. High St., and make a left at E. Asbury Ave. Walk east on E. Asbury Ave. until you reach S. Gaylord St. Take a right on Gaylord. The steps to the front entrance of the Sturm College of Law (Ricketson Law Building) will be just beyond the loading dock, in front of the circle garden. The outside steps will take you to the first floor of the building. The conference will take place on the first floor, in room 155, which is on the east end of the building.

TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Out-of-town guests: Please book your own transportation to/from the airport and hotel or law school.

Taxi service from the airport to the hotel is flat rated at $61.15.

Super Shuttle: To arrange group shuttle pickup to/from the airport, we suggest www.supershuttle.com. The cost is $22.00 per person, each way.
