    The AALDP seeks to fundamentally reorient what it means to be an animal lawyer, to reframe what lawyers can do to better support activists, and to serve as the world’s leading site for activist defense, advocacy, and coalition building.

    The Rocky Mountain Collective on Race, Place, and Law (RPL) is a group of Colorado legal academics and administrators working together to identify and address racial inequities in the U.S. and around the globe. We offer a critical lens on the complex dynamics of power, locality, and law, and their impact on subordinated communities.

    The Rocky Mountain Land Use Institute was established to conduct education and research programs on legal and public policy issues related to land use and development. For more than 30 years, RMLUI has been leading a discussion in the West about the challenges presented by growth and innovative ideas for addressing them.

    Tribal Wills Project

    Through the Tribal Wills Project, Denver Law students to go to American Indian reservations at the invitation of the tribes to spend a week drafting much-needed wills, medical powers of attorney, living wills, and burial instructions for tribal members.

    Veterans Advocacy Project

    The Veterans Advocacy Project, a collaboration between the Rocky Mountain Veterans Advocacy Project and the Sturm College of Law, offers a seminar and externship course in which students, together with professors and other attorneys, assist veterans with their VA Disability Benefit Compensation claims and Discharge Upgrades.
