The Ved Nanda Center for International and Comparative Law

Major Supporters

The 40-year legacy of the International Legal Studies Program had already created one of the strongest international law programs in the world when with their gift to the College of Law in 2006, former Editor-in-Chief of the Denver Journal of International Law & Policy, Douglas Scrivner (JD ’77), and his wife, Mary, established the Nanda Center in honor of their friend and mentor, Ved Nanda. The Scrivners expressed their desire to “create a lasting, institution-wide tribute to Ved Nanda . . . and to do so in a manner that captures Ved’s contributions to scholarship, teaching, writing and cooperative relationships.” Mrs. Connie Cox Price, JD’78, and the Estate of the Justice Leonard v.B. Sutton, represented by the late Earl A. Hauck (JD ’67), led those making extremely generous matching gifts.

Thank You!
