Law: Ndume Art Exposition
April 3
4:30pm - 8:00pm
Frank H. Ricketson Law Bldg, Forum
Audience: Current Student
You are invited to spend an evening with artist and activist Ndume Olatushani. Ndume was wrongly convicted of a crime and spent 28 years incarcerated—20 years on death row—before finally being released. His story and art are nationally recognized, having been featured at renowned institutions and in premier publications throughout the country. Join the Criminal Law Association and Denver Law’s DEI Office, as we listen to Ndume share about his case, the discovery of his artistry, and several new pieces of art that depict historical lynching events, superimposed with contemporary themes. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, conversation, and Ndume’s art with others in the Denver Law community during a reception after the discussion.
