Abstract: In the interviews (accessible by streaming video), Judge Edward provides a personal account of his life as a young boy in Scotland, his years at Oxford University and Edinburgh University School of Law, joining the Scottish Faculty of Advocates, his career as an Advocate, serving as a professor at Edinburgh University, joining the Court of First Instance, and finally serving on the Court of Justice of the European Communities.
