LOG IN to your LSAC LLM Account (LSAC should only be used if applying to other LLM programs that REQUIRE an LSAC app. Otherwise, DU Graduate Admissions Application is the preferred method of application)

PLEASE NOTE: We do not accept applications for the Graduate Tax Program through LSAC. You must use the DU Graduate Admissions Application.

Deadlines

ALL SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIALS MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE INDICATED DEADLINE. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Please allow 3-4 weeks for processing. If trying to apply after the posted deadline, please contact GLS for permission.

Graduate Tax Program MT and LLM Deadlines (on quarter system)

Spring 2017 quarter application deadlines (classes begin March 27th)applicants without a background in taxation are encouraged to start in an alternate term

  • international applicants – February 13th
  • domestic applicants – March 6th

Summer 2017 quarter application deadlines (classes begin June 19th)

  • international applicants – May 8th
  • domestic applicants – May 29th

Fall 2017 quarter application deadlines (classes begin September 5th)

  • international applicants – June 15th
  • domestic applicants – August 6th – if trying to apply past this deadline, please contact GLS directly

Winter 2018 quarter application deadlines (classes begin January 3rd)

  • international applicants – November 13th
  • international applicants currently residing in the US – November 30th
  • domestic applicants – November 30th

Application review for Winter quarter will commence in June 2017.

Spring 2018 quarter application deadlines (classes begin March 26th)applicants without a background in taxation are encouraged to start in an alternate term

  • international applicants – February 15th
  • international applicants currently residing in the US – February 26th
  • domestic applicants – March 5th

Application review for Spring quarter will commence in June 2017.

All other LLM and Master’s programs (on semester system)

Summer 2017 semester (classes begin May 30th)
Summer semester start only available for eligible applicants in some programs – please contact GLS for pre-approval.

  • domestic applicants – July 21st

Spring 2018 semester application deadlines (classes begin January 8th)

Scholarships

A limited number of scholarships are also available. To apply, you can submit a one-page essay detailing why you qualify for a merit scholarship. You can include but are not limited to information regarding financial need, public service and community activities, awards, publications, special recognitions, examples of leadership, background and influences, and future career plans. Please submit your essay on our scholarship submission page.

Other scholarships may be available to you through private grants and foundations. Please visit the DU Financial Aid Office’s website to explore other opportunities.
