Denver Law Graduate Legal Studies (GLS) accepts applications throughout the year on a rolling basis. Spring 2019 applications are now open, and we will continue to accept applications until all seats are filled. 

Applicants can expect notification of an admissions decision within 4 to 6 weeks of receipt of a complete application. Please visit our frequently asked questions pages for more information, or reach out to us at gradlegalstudies@law.du.edu with further inquiries.

Application Submission

GLS accepts two types of applications:

1) DU Graduate Admission Application (MLS, MSLA, MT)

2) Law School Admissions Counsel (LSAC) application. 

We strongly suggest using the DU application if we are the only school to which you are applying. LSAC should only be used if you are applying to other LLM programs that REQUIRE it. 

 

Application Deadlines 

LLM and Master of Legal Studies (semester system)

Listed deadlines are applicable to all programs except for Graduate Tax.

Spring 2019 Semester: (classes begin January 7)

  • International applicants- November 26
  • Domestic applicants- December 10

Summer semester start is only available for eligible applicants in some programs. Foreign-trained attorneys and domestic students without a US legal background are strongly encouraged to apply for Fall and Spring terms only. Contact GLS for more information.
