Lawyering for Racial Justice |
In this seminar, students will be introduced to the tenets of critical race theory and exposed to principles of practice that help to support and empower individual clients and communities of color. Students will consider how attorneys can effectively support organized movements focused on racial justice and racial equity, and will also explore how their own respective identities affect their practice. Together, we will grapple with these principles amidst the backdrop of a racial reckoning in America. Students will receive a grade of pass/no pass.
