Trial Practice II - Discovery and Pre-Trial Skills | 47xx

This course covers all aspects of the a lawsuit starting from investigating the potential claims and defenses to preparing for trial. Students will learn essential skills to develop and prepare a case for trial, such as preparing for and taking depositions, rules of evidence and civil procedure applicable to discovery and depositions, preparation of witness testimony, and trial preparation. The course will emphasize depositions because of the importance of this tool in the discovery process.
