Prior to joining the University in 1991, Professor Leaman was a partner in the international accounting firm of KPMG Peat Marwick specializing in employee benefit and corporate taxation. He is an active member of the American Taxation Association and has chaired its Corporate Tax Policy Subcommittee for three years. He is a frequent speaker at seminars and professional meetings. His recent publications include articles in Tax Advisor, Taxes—The Tax Magazine, Tax Notes, Oil and Gas Tax Quarterly, and Journal of Taxation.
