Nancy obtained her initial mediation training while working on an MSLA degree at the University of Denver – College of Law n/k/a Sturm College of Law. She entered the ADR profession in 2000 and her practice is primarily focused on ongoing relationship disputes in family, custody, elder, workplace, special education and community mediation. Currently, she a contract mediator for three Northern Nevada Judicial District Courts, as a Family/Custody Mediator in the 1st, 2n & 9th Districts, a Juvenile Dependency Mediator in the 1st & 9th District and a Special Education Mediator & IEP Facilitator for the Nevada Department of Education. Nancy also has a private mediation practice in Carson City, Nevada, co-facilitates a 40-hour Divorce/Custody Mediation Certification annually and has taught an ADR class for the University of Denver – Sturm College of Law’s MSLA’s online program since 2014. She has facilitated numerous mediation trainings/workshops and has obtained over 400 hours in Mediation Certifications/Education and has mediated over 3000 cases. Nancy has a Master of Science Degree in Legal Administration (MSLA) from University of Denver, College of Law n/k/a Sturm College of Law and Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in Social Science (Social Work/Sociology) from the University of Wyoming.
