Elizabeth W. Winfield discovered several years ago her passion for Elder Law. She is a civil litigator with many years experience in trial advocacy, representing disabled adults and children. Elizabeth is a skilled director of human resources and law firm administration, with 10 years of solid law firm management experience.

Prior to starting her own practice in Peachtree City, Georgia, Elizabeth practiced for four years with the Cook County Public Guardian in Chicago, Illinois. Ms. Winfield served as court appointed guardian for disabled adults and served as the court appointed guardian ad litem for abused and neglected minors. The Cook County Public Guardian’s Office is one of the most effective public guardian programs in the country. Ms. Winfield became well versed in representing clients in Cook County with difficult legal problems. Her experience includes managing personal and financial affairs including but not limited to permanent placement; end-of-life decisions; investment planning; special needs trusts; and reverse mortgage contracts. Ms. Winfield has argued and presented petitions in various venues including Chancery, Law, Municipal, Department of Health and Human Services, and Social Security Administration.

Ms. Winfield and her family relocated to Georgia over a year ago and has brought her experience and passion to represent elderly and disabled adults to Peachtree City.
