Hannah Connor, an executive attorney at the Center of Biological Diversity, will discuss the pollution problems caused by concentrated animal feeding operations. Professor Delci Winders of the Animal Law Litigation Clinic at Lewis and Clark Law School will elaborate on the role that factory farms play in climate change and focus on the environmental impacts of increasing slaughter line speeds, both at the factory farm and slaughterhouse level.
