Professional Biography
Prior to joining the Graduate Tax Program faculty in 2013, Professor Galvin was a summer clerk for the United States Tax Court, an associate at an employee-benefits and executive-compensation consulting firm, and a national finalist in the American Bar Association’s Law Student Tax Challenge. Professor Galvin specializes in individual income tax and tax controversy resolution matters. She has given numerous presentations to members of LITC community and public interest organizations. She is licensed in Colorado (active) and Illinois (inactive) and is a member of the Colorado and American Bar Associations, including their tax sections.
