Positive and Negative comments about the professor:Positive and negative comments about the course materials:
Discovery Practicum required a lot of preparation and coordination of the professor. He was well prepared and the course ran smoothly.   This was an excellent hands on class. Discovery, although not exciting, is crucial to most lawyers success or failure. I feel the class experiences increased my opportunity for success.

Good class, good professor. Discovery is EXTREMELY important as 95% of cases are settled before trial and the other ones require good preperation for trial. Even so, the flashier trial practice classes are wait listed while this class was half empty. Silly kids. Anyway, the class is highly recommended for the practical experience of how to run the discovery process. Two thumbs up.

Professor Thomson did a great job in helping me understand how the discovery aspect of litigation works. He was very responsive and thorough in answering any questions I had about the subject matter and assignments. Thanks, great class!
I anjoyed the class and the professional conduct of Professor Thomson.  Thought the use of the mock discovery requests with another student was a great way to simulate many of the problems lawyers have with responses from the other side. The mock deposition was great, I wish I could do more now that I have had a chance to see what I would do differently.
