To graduate with a J.D. degree, a student must:
- Complete and pass all required courses
- Complete 90 semester hours
- Complete 50 hours of supervised, uncompensated, law-related
public service work, either as part of designated courses or
through volunteerism (2004 incoming class)
- Hold a cumulative grade point
average of no less than 2.2
- Earn all credit within four years for day students, and within
five years for evening students
In a student’s final semester, there is no tuition charge
for up to six credits over the 90 required for graduation if all
90 credits are DU LAWS courses
