Colorado State Parks: This is the official State Park website.  Find out about attractions, location, fees, camping, boating, hiking trails, fishing, golf, cabin rentals,conference and meeting facilities and more.

Places to Visit:

All about Colorado Springs: This Website contains information about the many diverse attractions in Colorado Springs including Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, the U.S. Air Force Academy and the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center. It also provides a comprehensive list of accommodations in the area.

Boulder : The Visitor’s Guide to Boulder contains links to lodging, restaurants, indoor and outdoor adventures, and a transportation guide. Boulder is home to the University of Colorado’s main campus and a great town to visit. While in Boulder, you can hike around Chautauqua Park or take an audio tour of the National Center for Atmospheric Research. If you’re a tea fan, you might consider taking a tour of the Celestial Seasonings Tea Company located northeast of Boulder, or visit the Dushanbe Tea House, the country’s only authentic Tajik teahouse, off the Pearl Street Mall,

Clear Creek County: This site contains information about Clear Creek County, including “mountains of things to do” 30 minutes west of Denver. Has links to information about the towns of Idaho Springs, Georgetown, Empire and Silver Plume, which are all a relatively short drive from Denver.

Ft. Collins: The Colorado State University main campus is located in Ft. Collins, approximately an hour north of Denver. This site contains information about several attractions including the Rocky Mountain Raptor Center, the Lincoln Center Visual Arts Program, and a listing of local breweries ( Ft. Collins is the second largest producer of beer in the state). -

Gambling, anyone? Visit the towns of Blackhawk and Central City if you’re interested in checking out the gambling scene. This site has information about casinos and lodging, with a little Central City history thrown in for good measure.

Golden: Located approximately 15 minutes west of Denver, the town of Golden offers several cultural and adventure attractions. This site is a good starting point for information about shopping, restaurants, local parks and hiking trails, Buffalo Bill’s gravesite and Museum, the Colorado Railroad Museum and Coors Brewery tours.

Western Colorado: sponsored by the Colorado West tourism council and the town of Grand Junction, this site contains detailed information about Western Colorado including hiking, mountain climbing, rafting and kayaking, fishing, wineries, archaeology sites, and canyoneering.
