Judges' Day (2003-present)
Judges’ Day normally consists of five main events in
which all students, faculty, and staff are invited. The day begins
with a roundtable luncheon that gives first year students the
opportunity to converse with a handful of judges. It then proceeds
with a CLE presentation by appellate judges regarding issues that
are unique to appeals. Students are then invited to attend a
workshop on judicial clerkships. The peak of the event is the real
oral arguments which are presented in our moot courtroom at the
Sturm College of Law. You can view information about the oral
arguments below. We end the day with an open reception to honor
attorneys and judges in the Rocky Mountain region.
The Reese Persuasive Writing Awards and Hartje
Objective Writing Awards nominees and winners are announced during
the reception.
