All first year
students are required to have a laptop to support their
educational experience at the University of Denver Sturm College
of Law. Information on the minimum laptop specifications needed
to support the software applications used in legal education can
be found here.
You are responsible for the ongoing
maintenance of your operating system, antivirus and
applications. The University provides
antivirus software. The law school has a site license for
WordPerfect – ask at helpdesk for installation disk.
If you live in or are visiting
the Denver area, please stop by the Sturm College of Law
Helpdesk after you purchase your new laptop so that we can help
you become comfortable with the law school computing
environment. During new student orientation week we will also be
having informational sessions at the law school.
