The goal of the Intellectual Property Law Certificate (IPLC) is to provide students with sufficient background and experience so that they will attain an in-depth understanding of intellectual property law and have the skills and knowledge base that will be valuable to employers hiring recent graduates. During their second- and third-years of law school, IPLC students may design a specialized curriculum, combining doctrinal courses with experiential learning opportunities, leading to a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law. Through various IPLC events and activities, students are further able to interact with attorneys, policymakers and scholars specializing in the field of intellectual property law.

IPLC Certificate requirements may be found here: IPLC_AdvisingForm17_FNL.pdf

You are also invited to discuss the Program with faculty members and with the Program’s administrative director. Students choosing to participate in the Program may complete Program Enrollment Form.
