Join us for breakfast and brief remarks from Professor Wilma Liebman, the third longest serving Member of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) in its 78-year history.

President Obama designated Wilma Liebman to be chairman of the NLRB on January 20, 2009. She acted as chairman until August 27, 2011, when her third term expired, after serving on the NLRB for nearly 14 years. Since then she has been a visiting professor
at the College of Law and the School of Labor and Employment Relations, both at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, and a professorial lecturer in law at George Washington University Law School. Liebman currently is serving as senior lecturer at
Cornell University’s Law School and Industrial and Labor Relations School. Liebman holds an AB degree from Barnard College and a JD from George Washington University Law School.
