Having trouble accessing email online? Your password likely still works. It is more likely that:

  1. You may have bookmarked outlook web access too far in – please go to http://webmail.law.du.edu and click on the cloud link.
  2. You may not be using your full email address as your username; that is necessary now.
  3. Something may be preventing you from using your full email address – that box may already have content. Use the link below it to log in as another ID, then use your full email address and password.
  4. You may be using Chrome on either Windows 7 or Windows 8. Please try another browser.
  5. Bitdefender can block logging in. In Privacy Control Settings, turn off “Scan SSL” and “Protection Against Phishing.”
  6. You may have originally had a different username. You may have changed your name at some point or were here when students had email usernames that were composed of their first initial and the first 7 characters of their lastname. Try logging in with your original username (for example .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) instead of .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)). We can fix this problem if you request it. Email sent to either the old form address or the new form address will still go into the same mailbox.
  7. In the distant past, student was part of the student email address. Addresses that are in the form .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) will not go through at all. Please inform people to drop that “student” and change any printed references to your email address.
  8. Instructions helpful for setting up phones and other clients are on this page: http://www.law.du.edu/index.php/technology/helpdesk/settings-for-email

If none of these issues turn out to be your issue, email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or call 303 871 6464.
