Popping Student Email
You can read your Law School e-mail using an e-mail client like Outlook, Yahoo!, or Gmail. Here are set-up instructions for one client.

(The information given here is also helpful for other mail clients, but not guaranteed.)
Select either IMAP or POP3 as the connection type. The server information is the same for both.
For students, the incoming server is exc2k7-1.law.du.edu and the outgoing mail server is barracuda.law.du.edu.
Under More Settings>>Servers “My Server Requires Authentication” must be checked.
Under More Settings>>Advanced, we recommend that you check “Leave a copy on the server” so that you can continue to check your email via Outlook Web Access. You might want to check some of the housekeeping options underneath to keep things under control.
