Spanish Speaking Lawyers Association
The Spanish Speaking Lawyers Association works to present the cultural values and language of Spanish speakers from across the world to law students and the University of Denver College of Law community, to develop and maintain language and cultural skills that will help students in their future practice of law when dealing with clients who are native Spanish speakers and to promote education and awareness of current legal issues in the Spanish speaking community. The Spanish Club activities shall include, but are not limited to, weekly brown bag lunches for the purpose of informally conversing in Spanish language, inviting guest speakers from the Spanish speaking legal community, watching television programs and movies in Spanish language, and visiting local community events catering to the Spanish speaking community.
