Space Law Society
Mission
The mission of the Space Law Society at the University of Denver is to explore legal implications and challenges inherent to the use of outer space and the related, supporting industries. The SLS is created with the hope of stimulating interest in space-related legal practice areas and with the intent to educate students about a novel area of law.
From bilateral agreements between states regarding launching cargo to telecommunications and export control, the unique medium of space presents new challenges to established fields of law – both public and private. This is particularly important for Colorado, which employs the second highest number of aerospace professionals. Come explore the final frontier of the law!
