Law Students for the Right to Life
Law Students for the Right to Life is founded on the principle that no just society can declare that some human beings do not deserve the protections of the law. It is enough that one is human, no matter how burdensome or troublesome, to merit the right to life. Law Students for the Right to Life is dedicated to promoting these pro-life principles in an environment where radical personal autonomy is seen as the sole moral criterion. The organization seeks to engage the law school community in a constructive dialogue about ethical and legal issues relating to the inherent value of human life, to provide a network of support for pro-life law students, and to present a persuasive counterpoint to the prevailing “pro-choice” position. The organization is also committed to helping persons facing difficult decisions related to life issues.
