Ashley Dennis is a Colorado girl to her heart. Born and raised just twenty minutes outside of Denver, she never had the desire to leave for her higher-education needs. This upcoming school year will not only be Ashley’s third year in law school, but also her final year at the University of Denver. She attended DU for her undergraduate degree, studying English (creative writing), French, and Spanish. Ashley graduated magna cum laude in December of 2011 after studying abroad in Ontario, Canada. She then completed a competitive internship at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, before coming back to Denver to begin law school. Ashley proudly boasts a very random résumé. During undergrad, she worked as a professional Framer at Michael’s, which nurtured her love for artwork and photography. She has also worked as a leasing assistant, Summer Associate, and (her favorite title by far) Disney Toykeeper. This year, Ashley will be working as the Senior Articles Editor for the Sports and Entertainment Law Journal. Although she’s always been much more of a nerd than an athlete, Ashley loves sports (and entertainment, of course) and is excited to participate in the development of this journal.
