Douglas A. Jorden is a founding member of the Jorden Bischoff McGuire Rose & Hiser law firm in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is admitted to practice in Arizona, Arkansas, California and Colorado, was Town Attorney for the Town of Paradise Valley, Arizona from 1978 to 1982 and has been in private practice since 1982. His practice now emphasizes land use and zoning, municipal law, environmental regulation, real estate transactions and Indian Law. Mr. Jorden is currently serving as Zoning Hearing Officer for the City of Phoenix. He has served as Chairman of the City of Phoenix Environmental Quality Commission and Chairman of the State Bar of Arizona’s Continuing Legal Education Committee. Mr. Jorden is the co-author of Arizona Land Use Law, published by the State Bar of Arizona, and has lectured extensively on land use and environmental issues.
