Tim Estep is the Clinical Teaching Fellow in the Environmental Law Clinic. Tim received his J.D. from the University of Michigan, where he helped to found and served as Managing Editor of the Michigan Journal of Environmental & Administrative Law. After graduating from law school, Tim was a Clinical Fellow in the University of Pittsburgh’s Environmental Law Clinic, where he supervised student-interns working on cases concerning the recycling, reuse, and disposal of shale gas wastewater and stormwater management. At the Pitt Clinic, Tim also assisted in teaching the clinic seminar which covered client-counseling, case management, and advocacy skills. Following the University of Pittsburgh fellowship, Tim served as Assistant Counsel to the Honorable Steven C. Beckman of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Environmental Hearing Board. At the Board, Tim assisted in hearings regarding Department of Environmental Protection enforcement actions and permitting decisions, as well as advising the Board’s Rules Committee on proposed revisions to the Board’s regulations.
