Mr. Bain, who is a shareholder in the Denver law firm of Welborn Sullivan Meck & Tooley, P.C., specializes in environmental and natural resources law and has significant experience with government negotiations. He also has litigation experience involving oil and gas, insurance and commercial contracts.

Mr. Bain has extensive experience in international law, especially in the former Soviet Union, and is past Chair of the International Law Committee of the Colorado Bar Association. He has spoken at numerous continuing education seminars on environmental issues. Prior to joining the firm he worked for two years in the Czech Republic as an advisor to the Czech Ministry of the Environment.
