Former Deputy Regional Counsel for the Environmental Protection Agency’s Denver regional office, and currently a member of the Colorado Mediation Center.
Peter has over 30 years of government experience working on environmental issues. Peter worked as a hydrogeologist with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and, starting in the mid-1980s, worked for the EPA and was involved in the development of the RCRA Corrective Action program. In 1989, Peter transferred to EPA’s Denver office and helped negotiate the Rocky Flats CERCLA cleanup agreement. Prior to retiring from EPA in 2012, Peter helped manage the Regional Counsel’s office which provided legal services to the Agency on all environmental and operational programs. Peter joined the Colorado Mediation Center where he focuses on environmental and energy disputes.
