David N. Simmons Has practiced immigration law since 1986 in Denver, Colorado. He obtained his B.A. (1980) and J.D. (1985) from the University of Denver. He was the President of the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s Colorado Chapter in 1996-1997. He is active in pro-bono work and in community eduction efforts, and appears regularly on both English and Spanish media. He has spoken and written on several immigration-related subjects, and has presented Continuing Legal Education seminars to local, state and national audiences. He has taught in the Lawyering in Spanish Program since 2003.
