BA, California State University at Los Angeles, 1974, MPA with emphasis in Judicial Administration, University of Southern California, 1976; retired in January 2013 after 40 years with the United States Courts including 34 years as Clerk of the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado; former consultant and program faculty member to the Federal Judicial Center in self-directed work teams, quality management, and organizational design in the Federal Courts; since 1995, Lecturer and Adjunct Professor (2000), University of Denver Sturm College of Law, MSLA Program, current courses include Business of the Courts, Space and Facilities in the Courts, Statistics for the Legal Administrator, Applied Leadership Theory, and Project Management; co-developed and taught the first on-line course in the MSLA Program; recipient of the Adjunct Faculty Teaching Award for the University of Denver, 2005.
