The University of Denver Sturm College of Law Pro Bono Research Project is an initiative that aims to connect Denver Law students and private sector attorneys to work together on pro bono or low bono cases. Some projects will be through partnerships such as Metro Volunteer Lawyers, the Colorado Lawyers Committee, Alternate Defense Counsel, and Pro Bono Pat. Others will be from individual private sector attorneys and firms. The goal of this project is to match students who have completed at least 30 credits and are looking to fulfill their 50-hour Public Service Requirement with private sector attorneys engaging in pro bono work who can benefit from student legal research and writing skills. Students, who may be able to work remotely, will participate in discrete opportunities in which lawyers could use additional support.
Please note: The Pro Bono Research Project is part of the Volunteer Legal Experience and thus, the requirements for completion of that opportunity apply.
