Microfilm Printing Instructions
- Power button is in the lower left corner of microfilm scanner
- Insert 10 cents per page in vending unit (to the left of PC)
- If using Fiche, push Roll/Fiche Carrier all the way to the back of machine
- Use metal handle to slide fiche carrier forward and to the right until glass raises
- Insert fiche under glass, face down, top towards rear of carrier
- Slide under viewing lens – you may have to raise lens slightly with your hand
- If using Film, use metal handle to slide fiche carrier all the way to the left side
- Slowly pull Roll/Fiche Carrier towards front, using metal handle on right side
- Place reel on post with film wrapping in a clockwise direction
- Use film size dial on right – 35 for wide film, 16 for thinner film
- Insert end of film under post with rubber rollers. Feed until it’s under second rubber roller
- Push blue lever to the left until film wraps around take-up reel
- Use large brown dial on control panel to fast forward (right) or reverse (left)
- Line up image to be printed within the LTR angles on the screen
- To zoom, focus, or rotate, use the SELECT button and CONTROL dial on the separate control panel
- Press green button to print (printer is below scanner)
